SUICIDE AND I

I had a happy family👪
Until suicide took it all away from me
It all started in 1978,when I was 5
My Dad died when I was 5😔
I was told he committed suicide!!😧
I’m still wondering why🧐
How could he?
He left me in this lonely world😟
How could he be so heartless😔
My mother,a single mother struggled to feed me🤱
She works day and night😕
Comes home 12 midnight
Leave again by 5 Dawn
I pitied her😢
I couldn’t stop crying😭
It hurts a lot
Just 2 years after my dad died
She was diagnosed of Cancer🙆‍♂
She hid it for 6 months until the symptoms started manifesting😔
When I got to know it was through my uncle
I was helpless😔
What could a 7 year old child do🤷‍♂
Why is this world wicked to me
She later died when I was 9😭
I struggled all through my secondary school.
I worked and earned money to sponsor myself when my uncle stopped paying my fees.
It was painful😔
It hurts😣
I cried😰
I kept on moving
I became my sponsor
I applied for a scholarship program when writing jamb
It payed off,I was given👏
It wasn’t much but how could I be lazy
I worked and added to it
I applied to a federal university for medicine
I read hard,studied hard
Made it
Kept on reading🧠 borrowed textbooks
My determination won’t let me fail👌
Life hates me
But God loves me👏
Series of how to commit suicide came into my brain
Why does life want to end me so badly☹
But I chose to live no matter what
Now I’m a Doctor with a difference👍
I’m happily married and with kids too🙏
I lost it all😔
But God gave me all too👌
I chose to live
Death is not the solution👌
